The Blue Jays and Russell Martin Coming to TVA Sports : TVA Sports Signs a Six-Year Agreement With the Toronto Blue Jays
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 12/01/14 -- TVA Sports is proud to announce the renewal of a six-year deal with the Toronto Blue Jays. As the official French-language broadcaster, TVA Sports will offer fans at least 60 Blue Jays games every year for the next six seasons. This contract complements another agreement signed this year with Major League Baseball (MLB). A total of 130 games during the upcoming season will be broadcast on TVA Sports and TVA Sports 2.
Baseball fans will have a chance to follow the development of the Blue Jays' new catcher, Quebecer Russell Martin, who has just signed a five-year deal with the team.
TVA Sports will broadcast two games in Montreal
The agreement with the Toronto Blue Jays also includes the broadcast of two games against the Cincinnati Reds, which will be played at Olympic Stadium on April 3 and 4.
