WIND Mobile Continues to Strengthen Coverage from Coast to Coast
Increasing service areas across Canada by 14 per cent
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/02/14 -- Today, WIND Mobile announced that all new and existing customers will have access to even better service than ever before while travelling outside of the WIND Unlimited zone within Canada. By adding an additional domestic partner network, WIND Mobile has taken another leap in advancing and improving its service throughout Canada - growing its coverage area by 14 per cent nationwide, 40 per cent in British Columbia and 16 per cent in Alberta, adding 177,000 square kilometers of coverage within Canada. WIND Mobile now covers 1.2 million square kilometers across Canada and reaches 97 per cent of the population.
"Our data shows that Canadians living in our Unlimited coverage areas do tend to travel outside of their home zone for work or pleasure," said Mirko Rugarli, Chief Marketing Officer, WIND Mobile.
