AVL Emission Test Systems invited to the 1st FTIR user meeting in Germany
In September 2014, AVL Emission Test Systems invited key customers from German -speaking countries to a first FTIR user meeting.

The meeting took place from the 17th- 18th September in Gaggenau, Germany.
Besides technical lectures of customers and AVL experts, the creation of a community was of primary importance.
In interesting discussions and conversations customer-specific-applications and requirements have been debated.
The big advantage of this user community is the fact that the customers and AVL have the possibility to recognize trends early and to play an active part in the further development.
A company tour on this event, practical demonstrations and the live performance of the second generation SESAM i60 FT Series II on the chassis dynamometer, provided a great insight into the work of AVL’s development engineers.
The feedback from all participants regarding this user meeting, was very positive. The exchange of experience will not only help on a technical level but will also strengthen the customer relationship, guests said.
Its success gave rise to make the AVL FTIR user meeting an annual event and to expand the circle internationally.
