Alison Sweeney Rides With Medieval Times at 2015 Rose Parade
Actress, Director and Author Is First Celebrity Rider to Join Equestrian Unit
(firmenpresse) - BUENA PARK, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 12/03/14 -- Award-winning actress, director and author Alison Sweeney has done it all. Best known for her television roles on Days of our Lives and The Biggest Loser, Sweeney also is a skilled horsewoman and lifelong Medieval Times fan. Today, Sweeney announced she will reprise last year's debut performance and ride with the fabled Medieval Times equestrian team at the 2015 Rose Parade.
This year marks Medieval Times' 29th consecutive year participating in the Rose Parade. Sweeney is the first celebrity rider outside the "Medieval Times royal family" ever invited to ride.

To prepare for her role, Sweeney met with Medieval Times Horse Trainer Redha Gharsa to find the perfect Pure Spanish horse. She was fitted with a Medieval Times princess costume by the wardrobe department, and practiced with the Medieval Times precision equestrian unit. Sweeney also met Rose Queen Madison Elaine Triplett and the 2015 Tournament of Roses Royal Court when they recently visited the Buena Park, California, castle.
"I'm so excited to join the Medieval Times team," said Sweeney, who will be in costume on New Year's Day. "There is no better way to start the New Year than in my hometown of Pasadena with my family -- dressed as a princess."
Sweeney will join 11 other members of the Medieval Times equestrian team at the 2015 Rose Parade this New Year's Day. Tune in starting at 8 a.m. to catch Alison Sweeney as she reprises her role as a Medieval Times princess.
