Seasoned Healthcare IT Executive to Lead Technology Efforts Aimed at Helping Physicians Increase Productivity, Patient Care and Profitability

Coming to ADP AdvancedMD with over 16 years of experience in healthcare information technology and a deep background in interoperability, Samani will lead the organization's specific efforts to develop interoperable solutions tailored to smaller practices and broader goals of increasing the efficiency and viability of private practices nationwide.

ADP AdvancedMD has led efforts to help private practices maximize the efficiency and mobility of their workflow. The company recently launched including a new AdvancedInsight dashboard, mobile ePrescribing capabilities, and a new Patient Portal for secure, bi-directional communications and online bill-pay. Samani plans to continue the product development pace as well as ADP AdvancedMD's leadership in advising its clients on regulatory guidelines including ICD-10 and Meaningful Use.

Samani brings over 16 years of experience in the Healthcare IT industry and significant expertise leading development of cloud-based, SaaS and mobility solutions that are interoperable in the healthcare space. He has held several leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility in product and engineering at MEDHOST, 3M, Medicity, and Allscripts. Samani graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor in Economics and earned his MBA from the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina. He began his career as software engineer building revenue cycle management systems and later led EHR development and interoperability for the ambulatory and inpatient markets.
Samani is based in Salt Lake City and reports to ADP AdvancedMD President, Raul Villar.
