A veteran of Deloitte and Touche LLC, with 34 years' service at the firm, including serving as managing partner of Deloitte's San Jose office, Mr. Avondet will leverage his years of experience in professional services to accelerate Global Upside's growth.

Roy Avondet has a track record of successfully building professional service organizations. As managing partner of Deloitte's Silicon Valley Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice from 1995 to 2004, Mr. Avondet substantially expanded Deloitte's business with Silicon Valley companies, growing Deloitte's practice tenfold. As an audit partner, he directed Deloitte's services in audits, initial public offerings, and registration statements. After retiring from Deloitte in 2006, he established a consulting firm, NextStep Partners LLC, to help companies navigate complex issues. His client responsibilities have included serving as CFO for public and private companies. In his role at Global Upside, Mr. Avondet will work closely with CEO Ragu Bhargava on new client acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and a targeted growth strategy.
