KONE to deliver intelligent people flow solutions to high-rise office buildings in Hunan Province, China

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has won an order
to supply 51 elevators to the three office buildings of the Changhsa Kineer
International Center in Changsha, Hunan province, China. Covering an area of
over 3.5 hectares and reaching the height of 220m, the buildings are expected to
handle approximately 6000 daily visitors upon completion in 2017.
To guarantee high-level service, realibility and efficiency of the elevators,
the Changsha Kineer International towers will feature KONE E-Link(TM) monitoring
system which will monitor the performance of the elevators and the building
traffic . The E-Link system uses the building's standard Local Area Network
(LAN), and the connected elevators can be monitored and managed using graphical
software running on a standard PC. KONE E-Link traffic displays and provides an
accurate view of the transportation status, demand, traffic performance, and
availability of the elevators in the building.
Other KONE solutions will include 44 KONE MiniSpace(TM) elevators and seven KONE
S MonoSpace® elevators. The scope of the contract also includes equipment
maintenance by KONE during two years.

The building is designed by Hunan Architectural Design Institue, developed by
