Update to SIU Investigation Into Vehicle Death in Wellington County
(firmenpresse) - MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/19/11 -- Ontario's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is continuing its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 30-year-old Robert Collins of Milton as a result of a motorcycle-car collision in Wellington County on Sunday July 17.
The SIU has designated one Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer as a subject officer. Twelve civilian witnesses have been identified and interviews are ongoing.
A forensic post-mortem examination was conducted in Hamilton yesterday. The results will be forthcoming to SIU investigators in the future.
