First Trust Global DividendSeeker Fund Announces Monthly Cash Distribution and Special Distribution
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/17/14 -- First Trust Global DividendSeeker Fund ("the Fund") (TSX: FDS.UN) announced today a regular monthly cash distribution for the month of January along with a special distribution for Class A Units and Class F Units.
The Fund has declared a regular monthly distribution for the month of January of $0.05 per Class A Unit and $0.05 per Class F Unit to be paid on January 14, 2015 to Unitholders of record on December 31, 2014.
The Fund has also declared a special distribution of $0.515124 per Class A Unit and $0.586478 per Class F Unit (collectively, the "Special Distribution") to be paid on January 14, 2015 to Unitholders of record on December 31, 2014. The Special Distribution was declared because the income of the Fund for tax purposes (including net realized taxable capital gains) exceeds the amount of regular monthly distributions paid or payable in 2014.
