2nd Annual Boston Regional Entrepreneurship Weeks (BREW) Will Bring Together Thousands of Local Entrepreneurs and Business People
BREW 2011 Is Scheduled for October 12 Through October 28
(firmenpresse) - BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/20/11 -- Boston Regional Entrepreneurship Weeks (BREW) announced today a series of events that will provide resources and infrastructure to entrepreneurs of Greater Boston and the surrounding communities. With the BREW celebration taking place during the weeks of October 12 - October 28, the BREW committee is currently asking for events geared towards entrepreneurs to register their event details online at to share with the Boston region. The committee is also seeking sponsors, partners and supporters who may have products or services geared towards the entrepreneurial community. Events can include such things as educational workshops, invaluable networking opportunities, competitions, celebrations and expert panels.

BREW brings together leaders of all types and reminds us why the Boston region is such a great place to do business," said Tom Hopcroft, President and CEO of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC). "It is a pleasure to have MassTLC's Innovation 2011 unConference be part of the 2011 BREW phenomenon, with some 800 expected attendees, 600 one-on-one entrepreneur mentoring meetings, and several hundred sessions where the agenda will be formed organically by attendees on the day of the event."
"The goal of the two weeks is to bring together entrepreneurs in and around the Boston area to network and learn from each other. BREW was designed to celebrate the entrepreneur and all of the hard work, commitment and resourcefulness it takes to be successful at starting and running a business," said Christine Sierra, Director of BREW. "This year we are asking attendees to explore events held outside Cambridge and downtown Boston during the week of October 12 -19. Beginning October 20 we will re-energize the community in Boston and Cambridge with events hosted there through October 28."
BREW has released a new website that serves as a great resource for entrepreneurs. There is a 'Community Feature' that allows participants to connect, network and stay informed in regard to BREW activities. BREW has also partnered with several area companies and will be giving away a number of promotions this year.
