The Little Gym(R) Expands Partnership With LEGO Systems, Inc.
Creative Play Using LEGO(R) Juniors Will Be Featured in Birthday Parties, Camps and Other The Little Gym Programs
(firmenpresse) - SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwired) -- 01/14/15 -- There's more building going on at The Little Gym than just building self-confidence and physical skills. The Little Gym International and LEGO Systems, Inc. announced they have expanded their ongoing partnership to integrate building time with LEGO Juniors into birthday parties, camps and Parents' Survival Nights.
Since last spring, has been the exclusive childhood development center home to LEGO-based activities, with a special LEGO® DUPLO® building block curriculum incorporated into a number of the gym's "Serious Fun" programs. Adding LEGO Juniors will provide opportunities for children ages 4-7 to build projects on their own or together with parents as part of extended programs at The Little Gym. Activities created by The Little Gym International's team of educational specialists and play consultants from The LEGO Group help children build their problem solving, imagination and socialization skills.
Building time opportunities with LEGO Juniors will be incorporated into the following activities at The Little Gym:
-- Children will experience successful building adventures as The Little Gym's regular camp curriculum will incorporate both construction and project building along with creative role play.
-- The Little Gym will create special building activities as part of these select evenings, with parents invited to join in and build with their child at the end.
-- LEGO Juniors activities will be incorporated into The Little Gym's standard 90-minute and 2-hour parties.
LEGO Juniors is designed to give children ages 4-7 a great first experience with the LEGO brick through iconic, fun and Easy to Build models. LEGO Juniors sets contain quick-start elements and numbered pre-packed bags that can be built without help from Mom or Dad -- which makes any small builder extra proud. It gives children an opportunity to build their self-confidence, which is so important at this stage of their development.
The Little Gym currently features LEGO DUPLO activities in programs for children ages 19 months through 4 years. The expanded partnership will provide LEGO JUNIORS products to all The Little Gym locations in the United States and select locations in Canada.
