Dr. Joseph Willardsen of True Dentistry Recently Went on the Daytime Talk Show "The Doctors" to Share a Patient Transformation He Provided Using Dental Implants
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 01/22/15 -- Dr. Joseph Willardsen, a , was recently featured on the Emmy Award-winning talk show "The Doctors" to discuss a patient transformation he provided at his practice . Dr. Willardsen has been featured on numerous television and news programs in the past, but this was his first time on "The Doctors". Dr. Willardsen notes that it was a very rewarding experience to help the patient, Lori Leffler, as well as show the public the significant impact that dental procedures can have on one's life.
For Lori's makeover, Dr. Willardsen utilized to replace her missing and severely damaged teeth caused by periodontal disease. He says the show's audience first viewed Lori's transformation and how her teeth looked pre-treatment, and they were then able to see Lori's results in person. As part of Lori's makeover reveal, Dr. Willardsen explains that her husband, Staff Sergeant Matt Leffler, who was deployed in Kuwait for the unforeseeable future, surprised her by coming home and on the show, creating a loving reunion where she could proudly show off her new smile.
Dr. Willardsen says he was proud to help the patient, who was in need of such extensive work, regain not only beautiful, functional teeth, but also the confidence to smile again. He encourages anyone suffering from damaged teeth or who is unhappy with the appearance of their smile to seek a qualified dental professional. By doing so, he says they can learn of the most beneficial solutions for their unique oral needs.
earned his dental degree from the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California. He then continued to the Las Vegas Institute to undergo specialty training, which is completed by less than 1% of dentists in the U.S. Dr. Willardsen also attended Arrowhead International, where he trained with The Dr. Dick Barnes Group, and graduated from Occlusion Connections. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Nevada Dental Association.
