Parkit Appoints Joel Dumaresq to Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/29/15 -- Parkit Enterprise Inc. (TSX VENTURE: PKT)(OTCQX: PKTEF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Joel Dumaresq to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Dumaresq's career spans over 22 years in corporate finance and investment banking; serving as Managing Director of Canadian private equity and merchant banking firm Matrix Partners Inc. for twelve years, prior to which he spent ten years with RBC Dominion Securities, a division of Royal Bank. Mr. Dumaresq is currently the Executive Chairman and CFO of TSX-V listed Taipan Resources, Inc.
Mr. Dumaresq has been instrumental in raising over $250 million in capital for a variety of companies. He is active in the Young President's Organization and is the recipient of Canada's highest civilian honour for bravery, the Star of Courage.
In conjunction with this appointment, Mr. Dumaresq will be granted 200,000 incentive stock options exercisable at $0.50 per share for a term of five years, in accordance with the Company's stock option plan.
