The complaint alleges that the Company made false and/or misleading statements regarding its business, operations, and prospects. On January 14, 2015, the Company reported expected quarterly revenues of $43-45 million, and losses per share of $0.47 to $0.58, well below the consensus revenues of $56.2 million and $0.11 per-share losses. The Company attributed the revision in part to lower than expected applications for its Individual & Family Plan. As a result of this news, eHealth's shares dropped almost 55% to $9.42 per share.
