Spectrum Gaming Group Provides Independent Anti-Money Laundering Consulting Services

American, EU and other international law enforcement have made it known, in no uncertain terms, that casinos are going to have to increase their compliance and enforcement efforts in this area. Law enforcement is encouraging the use of independent companies rather than outside auditing firms that sometimes get too close to management. Spectrum Managing Director , while serving as Assistant Director for New Jersey's Division of Gaming Enforcement, worked on a task force to implement amendments to the Bank Secrecy Act when it determined that casinos were considered financial institutions in 1986 to 1988. Kim McCabe, CPA and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and former Vice President Compliance, Las Vegas Sands, heads Spectrum's team of AML professionals.
