FrontFour Capital Corp. and Its Affiliate Acquire Common Shares of Rock Energy Inc.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 02/05/15 -- FrontFour Capital Corp. ("FrontFour Capital") announced today that it, and its affiliate, FrontFour Capital Group LLC ("FrontFour LLC" and, together with FrontFour Capital, the "FrontFour Group"), acquired an aggregate of 90,000 common shares (the "Shares") of Rock Energy Inc. (the "Issuer"), at a price of CDN$2.3902 per Share on February 4, 2015, on behalf of certain investment funds and managed accounts that they manage (the "Funds and Accounts").
Before these transactions, the FrontFour Group exercised direction or control of 4,036,400 Shares, through the ownership of Shares by the Funds and Accounts. As a result of these transactions, the FrontFour Group now exercises direction or control of an aggregate of 4,126,400 Shares, or approximately 10.22% of the Issuer's issued and outstanding Shares based on the total issued and outstanding Shares of the Issuer as shown in the interim financial statements of the Issuer dated September 30, 2014.
The Shares of the Issuer are listed on the TSX and trade under the trading symbol "RE". The FrontFour Group acquired the Shares on behalf of the Funds and Accounts for investment purposes as they believe the Shares are materially undervalued. Depending on market conditions, the FrontFour Group may in the future increase or decrease these investments in the Issuer.
