Snowflake Computing to Sponsor, Present and Exhibit at Strata + Hadoop World 2015

The conference will be held Feb. 17-20 at the Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.
Snowflake will showcase and provide live demonstrations of the , a completely new SQL data warehouse built from the ground up as a cloud service, in booth #1236 of the Expo Hall. Visitors will have a chance to learn more about the Snowflake's patent-pending architecture and cloud data warehousing from Snowflake experts.
In addition, Snowflake will participate in two presentations at Strata + Hadoop World. Taking place in the Solutions Showcase Theater, the first session, "Data Warehousing in the Cloud," will outline why and how Snowflake built a new data warehouse designed for the cloud.
The second session, "Data Warehousing in the Cloud with Snowflake at KIXEYE" will showcase how , the leader in online combat strategy games, is using Snowflake. Tens of thousands of simultaneous game players generate a lot of data. For KIXEYE, analysis into that data provides important insights that help drive decisions about game play and monetization. The cloud provides the scalability and flexibility KIXEYE needs to keep up with its growing data and analytics needs. In this session, KIXEYE and Snowflake will discuss how KIXEYE is using Snowflake's data warehousing service to meet those needs and why it decided to use the cloud to analyze the semi-structured data generated by its gaming platform.
