(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/24/15 -- Tanager Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE: TAN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Pryce as an Independent Director.
Mr. Pryce is a seasoned oil and gas professional with over thirty five years of experience in all aspects of the energy industry. Having worked for a major international oil company, the National Energy Board (NEB) and most recently completed 23 years at the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), David has developed outstanding strategic planning and management skills and a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing both oil and gas companies and governments.
During his time with CAPP as Vice President of Operations, he spearheaded major policy initiatives in the areas or environment, land use planning and land liability management, health and safety, aboriginal relations and related regulatory and operational issues is BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as Northern Canada. Mr. Pryce was actively involved in a number of industry-government committees including: the Alberta Clean Air Strategic Alliance, the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute, and chairing the Alberta Orphan Well Association. These engagements exposed Mr. Pryce to a wide variety of perspectives on issues and policy areas, while honing his stakeholder relations skills.
