CA State Senate Candidate Says "Education Must Be Our First Priority"
(firmenpresse) - DANVILLE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/25/15 -- The Doing What Matters initiative announced today that CA State Senate candidate and former Assembly member, Joan Buchanan, will keynote the SF East Bay area's Inaugural Global Edu-Preneurs event at JFK University, March 6, 2015.
Organized and chaired by Deputy Sector Navigator (DSN) for Global Trade & Logistics, Petural 'PJ' Shelton, this event is structured to 'open the dialogue and continue conversation' about how our regional community -- comprised of educators, administrators, business leaders, mentors and colleagues -- can better prepare students for the interconnected, global economy.
The full day event will showcase , industry insights and best practices in fostering global thinking, entrepreneurial mindsets and collaboration between the academic and business communities in our area, from Valley View Middle School's innovative team to Training collaboration with the Participants will learn also of the work of non-profits helping underserved communities, with success stories from and and effective new tools such as website/game.
