Forest2Market(R) Welcomes Barbara Wright Hudson, Recycled Fiber Lead
(firmenpresse) - CHARLOTTE, NC -- (Marketwire) -- 07/26/11 -- announced today that Barbara Wright Hudson has joined the company. In her new role, Hudson will lead the company's practice.
She will be responsible for driving sales of Market2Mill, the company's suite of services for buyers and sellers of recycled fiber, and for managing product evolution and derivative product development. Currently, these services include a monthly recycled and recovered paper price report and a quarterly benchmark.
"Forest2Market has provided price and volume data and cost benchmarks to the pulp and paper industry on the virgin fiber side for nearly a decade," said Pete Stewart, the company's President and CEO. "At their request, we've recently expanded into the recycled side of the business. Hudson will be integral in our work to serve this new segment of our customer base."
Hudson comes to Forest2Market with 15 years of experience in the recycled fiber industry, where she sourced, negotiated and procured recycled materials for domestic and global markets. Most recently, she was the recycled fiber procurement manager for Marcal Manufacturing, where she increased the amount of fiber received direct from suppliers from 20 percent to 55 percent, which led to a cost avoidance of $10-$15 per ton. While there, she managed sourcing, supplier relations, negotiations, and purchasing.
Prior to that, Hudson worked with Pratt Industries' Recycling Division in various roles. She has also worked at Greif and Packaging Corporation of America.

Hudson has Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She will work out of Forest2Market's headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
