comdirect Selects Omada for Risk and Authorization Management

(PresseBox) - Omada G.m.b.H today announced that comdirect Bank AG is going to implement Omada Identity Suite for Risk and Authorization Management.
comdirect bank AG is a leading full-service bank and market leader in online securities business for modern investors, offering brokerage, banking, and advisory services. More than 2.7 million customers use the products and services in the B2C and B2B business line.
Compliance is deeply rooted in the company culture, as the success of comdirect bank largely depends on its reputation and the confidence that customers, shareholders, employees, and public uphold in the company.
Maintaining and controlling compliance in line with legislative regulations and business policies is of utmost importance, as well as the observance of industry standards and codes of conduct in all business activities of comdirect. One source of regulations is the requirements for risk management stated by the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), which includes specific requirements for authorization management.
In order to increase efficiency and transparency in its authorization processes, comdirect selected Omada's market leading identity and access governance solution and data warehouse. Omada's solution will provide comprehensive access authorization management, improved reporting capabilities, and easily determine actual state of access compared to desired state. The implementation of the solution will commence in the first quarter of 2015.
