Tech Data Europe Helps Resellers Embrace the Cloud Through Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program

BARCELONA, Spain, March 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Europe today
announced that it has been selected to participate in Microsoft's Cloud Solution
Provider program. This program is designed to expand cloud sales opportunities
for reseller partners by enabling them to provide direct billing, sell combined
offers and services, and directly provision, manage and support products and
services. Building on the successful launch of the Cloud Solution Provider
program in the company's Americas region over the last six months, Tech Data
Europe's appointment as a 2-Tier Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) now completes the
portfolio of Microsoft cloud products it offers to the channel.
CSP will be integrated into Tech Data's StreamOne cloud platform, which is
currently available in UK, France and Sweden. Resellers in the remaining
countries in Tech Data Europe's footprint will be able to access this service
following a progressive rollout of the platform expected to conclude at the end
of April 2015.

Data will consolidate monthly billing for Cloud Solution Provider subscriptions
along with monthly bills for other cloud services so reseller partners receive a
single invoice each month. This will enable solution providers to more easily
sell Office 365 and Windows Intune subscriptions. Tech Data Europe will also
offer additional services to resellers, including support with Office 365
migration.
