Vaisala to sell its treasury shares
The Board of Directors of Vaisala Corporation has decided to use the
authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on 26
March, 2014 for transferring the Company's series A treasury shares. Vaisala
Corporation sells a total of 63,800 series A treasury shares held by the Company
in order to cover the cash reward of the Performance Share Plan 2012. The cash
reward is used to cover withholding tax and other similar costs. The sale of the
Company's treasury shares will commence earliest on March 11th, 2015. The
Company's treasury shares will be sold through public trading at the market
price prevailing at the time of the transactions in accordance with the rules of
the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd.
Currently the Company holds 159,150 series A treasury shares in its possession.
A total of 63,800 series A treasury shares representing approximately 0.35% of
the Company's total shares, 0.43% of all series A shares and 0.08% of the total
voting rights will be sold. After the directed share issue without consideration
which Vaisala released as the stock exchange release on March 10th, 2015 and
selling its treasury shares the Company holds a total of 31,550 series A
treasury shares.
