Ice Age Mammals Exhibit Receives Federal Support in Prince George
Member of Parliament Dick Harris announces funding for the Fraser-Fort George Museum Society

The Government of Canada is providing $15,000 in funding through the to the Fraser-Fort George Museum Society. Funding will support the presentation of the Ice Age Mammals exhibition at the Exploration Place Museum and Science Centre in Prince George. Dick Harris, Member of Parliament (Cariboo-Prince George), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
Ice Age Mammals is a travelling, bilingual exhibition circulated by the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. It examines the human impact on climate change, species and extinction. Funding will contribute to the installation, promotion, dismantling and return of the exhibition, as well as to the development of school and public programs.
