Government of Canada supports the Peterborough Folk Festival

The Government of Canada is providing $10,000 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to support the Peterborough Folk Festival's annual music festival and its year-round music series. The events feature established and emerging artists in a variety of folk sub-genres, including influences of pop, country, new music and jazz. Barry Devolin, Member of Parliament (Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock), made this announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
