Luxury Hotel's New Partnership With 4XFOUR Brings World-Renowned Chefs to Mumbai

(firmenpresse) - MUMBAI, INDIA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/24/15 -- While the JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai is no stranger to Michelin stars -- its own Arola restaurant has earned two of them after all -- its latest culinary adventure has epicureans everywhere reaching for their forks. That's because this paragon among Juhu beach hotels has teamed up with 4XFOUR to offer a series of limited-time, pop-up dining experiences with some of Europe's best Michelin-starred chefs. And mouths are watering just to see the menus.

Based in Singapore, 4XFOUR has a history of culinary innovation. The organization brought four international chefs to Singapore last year over the course of four weeks to prepare their signature cuisine within a purpose-built, pop-up restaurant.

This April, a similar concept will arrive at the hotel's Mezzo Mezzo, one of the finest . Diners will be able to tuck into lunch or dinner menus with two of the world's most exciting chefs.

Chef Peugeot lives by the principle that opposites can do more than attract; they can create something as original as it is delicious. That, anyway, has been the sum of his experiences after training with Burgundian chefs (who taught respect for taste and a culture of discipline) and then spending four years in Japan to glean the merits of patience and precision. His ensuing French-Japanese cuisine has earned both attention and acclaim.

Food is undeniably a family affair for Chef D'Amato, who can trace his culinary passion to his grandparents and who currently cooks alongside his son, Federico. Within the breadth of that history, Chef D'Amato has earned an impressive two Michelin stars at the restaurant he opened in 1986. Chef D'Amato draws inspiration and ingredients from the surrounding region of Reggio Emilia and promises to bring those traditions to India next month.

In addition to these wholly original dining experiences at one of the best , guests can look forward to complementing their fare with a carefully curated wine and beverage menu. Prices start at INR 7,000 plus taxes per person.

"Culinary innovation is a significant focus at our hotel," noted General Manager Pavithran Nambiar, "and this concept will undoubtedly become one of our most exciting experiences of the year. We are changing the food landscape of our country and, at the same time, hope to make the JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai the home of Michelin-star chefs."
