FLSmidth receives order from Moroccan phosphate producer

FLSmidth has received a contract worth approximately EUR 30m (DKK 223m) from the
Moroccan phosphate and fertilizer producer Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP)
for the supply of material handling equipment to a port facility and mine site
in Morocco.
The order covers supply of equipment, supervision of erection as well as
commissioning. The equipment to be supplied includes three bucket wheel
reclaimers, each with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour, two stackers with a
capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour, two stackers with a capacity of 1,000 tonnes
per hour and finally associated yard conveyors.
"Office Chérifien des Phosphates is experiencing an increase in fertilizer
demands and thereby a need for capacity expansion. The Group is a well-known
customer to FLSmidth and we are very happy that they have chosen to place this
order with us," Group Executive Vice President of the Minerals Division Manfred
Schaffer comments.
The order will be booked by the Minerals Division and contribute beneficially to
FLSmidth's earnings until late 2016.
