Shane Feldman's Count Me In Global Broadcast Is on Pace to Shatter 2014's Record Breaking Event When It Airs Live in Over 70 Countries to More Than 2.5 Million Viewers

(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/15 -- Founder & Chief Executive Optimist of , is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual will be airing live on April 14th on during National Volunteer Week. The global broadcast is a motivational variety show unlike anything you've ever experienced and features more than 20 performances by top youth speakers, award winning musical artists, young leaders and teen icons!

Born out of Shane's exceedingly challenging transition into high school, Count Me In is a student-led charity and global brand that helps young people find their passion through community involvement. Count Me In's core mission is to transform the way teens see themselves in connection to the world through volunteerism. Count Me In provides youth with tools, resources and mentorship for them to engage with their communities without money, a driver's license or even an adult. Count Me In believes in local, student-driven, grassroots, hands-on activity to combat depression and to help youth lead healthier, active and more meaningful lives.

According to Shane, "When I started high school in a new community, I had a lot of trouble finding my place and fitting in. I went to my Guidance Counselor hoping to transfer to a new school, but before he would entertain the idea, I was essentially forced to sign up for some clubs and school initiatives that matched my hobbies and interests. That is when my life turned around." Feldman continued, "Getting involved in my community saved me from depression, isolation, and a dangerous path. The idea for Count Me In was born out of my desire to show other students in my school how fun volunteering could be and how critical it is to stay connected."

Produced entirely by a team of youth, the Count Me In Global Broadcast launches a year-round digital mentorship program where students from across the globe are guided towards developing their own volunteer initiatives, and becoming more compassionate world citizens.
