Company Backs TechHire's Goal of Helping More Individuals Attain Technology Jobs Through Appropriate Training and Education


(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 04/02/15 -- , a global innovator in talent acquisition, today announces details of its participation in President Obama's , an extensive program designed to help more Americans gain the skills training they need to attain well-paying technology jobs.

To support the TechHire program, TMP has partnered with , an organization dedicated to providing individuals in the greater Louisville, Kentucky region with software training and mentorship. Through Code Louisville, individuals complete a 12-week course that gives them the skills to advance their careers and fill key tech talent gaps in the region. The program is free for candidates, while organizations can participate by having employees devote their time teaching classes and serving as mentors.

Not only do organizations supporting Code Louisville benefit from giving back to the community, but they also gain access to the best and brightest talent to emerge from the program. TMP, one of 20 employers participating in Code Louisville, has greatly benefited from the program, hiring two highly qualified graduates who serve as developers at the company's Louisville office.

Louisville was one of 21 cities specifically selected for the TechHire initiative, setting an example for similar programs across the country. Given the success of Code Louisville, President Obama will be visiting the city today, April 2, 2015, to tout the program and highlight its effectiveness in providing area residents with the skills needed to fill IT jobs throughout the region.
