Management consultancy UNITY invited to innovation Circle
(PresseBox) - Smart Logistics was yesterday's topic of the innovation Circle out of the series of events UNITYinnovations at the German Center Shanghai. Two keynote speeches of top-level speakers were the basis for the following interesting professional discussions.
Hans Peter Reust, General Manager at Star Farm Consulting, talked about the intelligent transport of organic food in China. Afterwards, Peter Zhu, Purchasing Manager at scales and weighing instruments manufacturer METTLER TOLEDO, explained a self-developed solution to weigh so called C parts, meaning bolts, nuts, washers etc.
Both keynotes made clear that with "Smart Logistics" intelligent technologies enter the world of transport logistics. Therewith, the topic is a central component of Industry 4.0 and trendsetting for many companies.
