Be Among the First to Visit the New Dynamic Nacelle Testing Laboratory
(PresseBox) - The technical reliability of a wind turbine prototype is of great importance, and testing a nacelle is a long and cost intensive process. From April 2015 Germany's first test rig in Bremerhaven - the Dynamic Nacelle Testing Laboratory (DyNaLab) of the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy and Energy System Technology (IWES) - is testing, evaluating and optimizing wind turbine nacelles with a capacity of up to 8 megawatts. DyNaLab accelerates the innovation as well as development time for prototypes considerably.
Be among the first to see this unique test facility and join the DEWEK 2015 excursion. Further destinations are the wind farm at Langen-Neuenwalde, where multi-megawatt prototypes of Senvion and Enercon are located, and Falck Safety Services in Bremerhaven. Falck Safety Services provides safety training for the wind industry in general and for the offshore industry especially.
