Ahold share buyback update

Zaandam, the Netherlands, April 27, 2015 - Ahold has repurchased 591,000 Ahold
common shares in the period from April 20, 2015 up to and including April
24, 2015. The shares were repurchased at an average price of ? 18.6519 per share
for a total consideration of ? 11.02 million. These repurchases were made as
part of the ? 500 million share buyback program announced on February 26, 2015.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 3,901,249
common shares for a total consideration of ? 71.66 million.
