Mr. Jouni Grönroos, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Rapala VMC Corporation
(Rapala) will leave the company in the end of October to join the Fazer Group.
Grönroos has worked in Rapala as CFO and member of the Executive Committee since
2005.
"In the last five and half years, Rapala has strongly developed its business and
organization by e.g. acquiring 11 new companies, businesses and/or brands,
establishing 8 new distribution companies and a lure factory, and lifted its
world-wide finance function to a higher level. I have enjoyed working in Rapala
but I could not miss the opportunity offered to me to join the development and
leadership of Fazer, one of the leading companies in North Europe and Russia for
bakery and confectionary products and food services, as the Group's Executive
Vice President and CFO", says Jouni Grönroos.
Mr. Jussi Ristimäki, M.Sc.(Econ) (35) has been appointed as the new CFO and
member of the Executive Committee of Rapala as from November 1, 2010. Ristimäki
has worked in Rapala since 2007 as Group Tax and Risk Manager being currently
also responsible for development of Cash Management. Before joining Rapala he
worked as Vice President - Taxation in Outokumpu Oyj.

wide input in the development Rapala and his good cooperation in participating
in the leadership of the Group. I wish him all the best in his new challenges.
At the same time, I want to welcome Jussi Ristimäki to our Executive Committee.
Jussi has a wide experience in various key areas of financial administration and
he has proven to us that he is able to take new challenges with success. I
believe that he will continue the development of the finance function to be even
