(TSX: FTS) will hold its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. (Newfoundland Daylight Time), 9:00 a.m. (EDT), at the Holiday Inn St. John's, 180 Portugal Cove Road, St. John's, NL.

The presentation that will be given during the meeting will be webcast on the Fortis Inc. website at .

Mr. Barry V. Perry, President and Chief Executive Officer, Fortis Inc., will review the important events of the past year. Mr. Karl W. Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Fortis Inc., will review the financial performance of the Corporation in 2014 and provide an overview of results for the first quarter 2015.
