CWB Completes Sale of Valiant Trust Company Assets
(firmenpresse) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/01/15 -- Canadian Western Bank (TSX: CWB) today announced the successful completion, effective May 1, 2015, of its previously disclosed transaction to sell certain assets of its subsidiary, Valiant Trust Company (Valiant), to Computershare Limited ("Computershare") (AUX: CPU) for cash proceeds of approximately $33 million. Assets purchased by Computershare relate to Valiant's business in stock transfer, corporate trust and employee incentive plan services.
