IGM Financial Inc. Announces April 2015 Mutual Fund Sales and Total Assets Under Management
(firmenpresse) - WINNIPEG, MANITOBA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/04/15 -- IGM Financial Inc. (IGM) (TSX: IGM) today reported preliminary total mutual fund net new money in April of ($574.1) million as shown in Table 1. Total assets under management were $147.6 billion at April 30, 2015, compared with $148.4 billion at March 31, 2015 and $138.2 billion at April 30, 2014. Mutual fund assets under management were $130.7 billion as at April 30, 2015, compared with $131.5 billion at March 31, 2015 and $123.3 billion at April 30, 2014. Assets under management are shown in Table 2.
(i)Mutual Fund Net New Money is defined as Gross Sales less Gross Redemptions and is consistent with the terminology used by The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).
Preliminary average mutual fund assets under management and average total assets under management for the quarter to date are set out in Table 3.
