Dedicated servers at the price of a virtual server hosted in Germany
What it feels like the difference between a VPS and a dedicated server can now tested by
interested users by the server hoster and data center operator EUserv Internet
(www.euserv.com). The provider priced its smallest dedicated server for monthly costs
significantly below ten Euro.
(firmenpresse) - "Save power and space were the key points on our agenda to reduce significantly the cost of the dedicated server." explains CEO Dirk Seidel the concept. At the part of the racks and enclosures the provider relies on its own developments. As the basic self-developed server blades are used, which are 100% manufactured in Germany and hosted in EUservs data center in Germany.
Why they doing this things in times of virtualization? "The answer is quite simple:" says Seidel adds: "Virtualization is a great thing and has with us a very high priority. To manage a own dedicated server has the advantage that the customer retains all the hardware under its control and there is no virtualization layer between them. There are customers who prefer virtualization and those who want not be without direct hardware access. There is nothing that speaks against a co-existence. "
Reliable and proven hardware
Despite of the extremely low price, the servers are equipped with reliable hardware. Each component of the server will be tested by EUservs itself developed testing software on reliability and 100% functionality before delivery. The server series are used power-saving x86 - CPU's. Traffic flatrate and support are included.
Low-cost servers as game-, mail, test and learning server
The server is especially suitable for entry into the dedicated hosting and can be managed completely independently. The dedicated server is ideal as game servers, mail servers, testing and learning server, small web projects and also usable for programming and debugging.
The "Misurfi LC" server series are one of the cheapest dedicated server that are currently
hosted in a German data center. From now on EUserv starts the dedicated server series in lowbudget range with a limited contingent of hardware.
