syskoplan turns into Reply Deutschland
Gütersloh, 29/07/2011 - syskoplan today announced the results of the first
half-year 2011. In the group, the software integrator achieved revenues of
EUR 31.0 million, 11% more than in the previous year. Earnings before
taxes, interest and depreciation (EBITDA) amounted to EUR 3.7 million after
EUR 1.5 million in 2010, bringing EBITDA-margin to 11.8% (previous year:
5.5%). Earnings before taxes (EBT) were EUR 3.1 million coming from EUR 0.8
million in 2010. Altogether, syskoplan group after tax and minority shares
obtained a net profit of EUR 2.0 million until now (previous year: EUR 0.4
million).
Positive second quarter - In the second quarter 2011 syskoplan recorded
revenues of EUR 14.9 million, down by 7% compared to the first quarter of
2011. Revenues rose by 5% in relation to the second quarter 2010. In the
same period EBITDA nearly doubled to EUR 2.0 million (Q2 2010: EUR 1.1
million). EBITDA-margin came to 13.6%. The settlement of two larger
projects caused one-off special effects having positively influenced the
result.
Liquidity and staff - Cash flow (according to DVFA/SG) up to now amounted
to EUR 2.7 million in 2011 (previous year: EUR 1.5 million). Liquidity fell
slightly to EUR 21.5 million (end of 2010: EUR 22.0 million, Q1 2011: EUR
21.4 million). The equity ratio rose to 60%. 404 employees were active in
the group at the end of June 2011 (previous year: 415).
Reply Deutschland - At the general meeting of syskoplan AG on June 29th,
2011 the course was set to appear under a homogeneous, powerful and agile
IT brand in Europe in future and to extend the joint success story. In
future syskoplan AG signs under Reply Deutschland AG and is managing all
German Reply activities. All business units of the syskoplan group will
gradually receive a new company name and a new brand under the new brand
roof.
Status and outlook - syskoplan will grow with the German market in the
financial year 2011. The normalizing development of the information
technology markets is reflected in our project business. Besides, we are in
promising conversations around new Startup initiatives and around further
acquisitions for the expansion of our business portfolio. We expect a
slight increase in revenue in 2011 and assume to slightly improve the
EBITDA margin to be compared with a level of 10.1% achieved in 2010.
In view of the upcoming priorities and initiatives, syskoplan has
overwritten the financial year 2011 with 'truly colorful', in preparations
for the journey to the setup of a powerful European brand: Reply. We are
truly colorful to demonstrate our membership in the Reply group with more
than 3,000 employees in Europe. In this meaning, we strive to continue to
add colorful accents as Reply Deutschland.
