Facility Offers Expanded Capacity for LTL and TL Services, Room to Grow
(firmenpresse) - WEST CHESTER, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/13/15 -- (Pyle), the Northeast's premier provider of asset and non-asset based transportation and supply chain solutions, announces the opening of its newest in Pittston, Pennsylvania, just outside of Wilkes-Barre. The 24,600 square-foot state-of-the-art facility supports the company's Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Truckload (TL) and Custom Dedicated operations.
With 56 doors for expedited loading and unloading and room to add an additional 20 doors, the new Wilkes-Barre, PA facility helps increase shipping capacity and supply-chain capabilities. Strategically located close to Routes 81 and 476, the site includes an 8-door, 8,720 square foot maintenance shop, secure fencing and a 24/7 security monitoring system. The all-weather facility is fully heated and features back up power generation and on-site snow removal capabilities in order to operate in even the most extreme weather emergencies.
Pyle's proprietary satellite tracking system and dock management technology, used in Wilkes-Barre and throughout A. Duie Pyle's operations, offers real-time communication and tracking, further enhancing the company's Just-In-Time delivery capabilities.
