Ashland announces price increase for unsaturated polyester resins, epoxy vinyl esters and gelcoats in Europe, Middle East and Africa

DUBLIN, Ohio - Ashland Performance Materials, a commercial unit of Ashland Inc.
(NYSE: ASH), is increasing the price of its portfolio of unsaturated polyester
resins, epoxy vinyl esters and gelcoats sold in Europe, the Middle East and
Africa (EMEA) by 100 euros per ton effective June 1, 2015, or as contracts
allow.
This increase is primarily driven by the continued escalation in costs for key
raw materials and unplanned shutdowns of major suppliers. Responding to changing
market conditions allows Ashland to continue to provide innovative products and
industry-leading support that adds value for our customers.
