Farstad Shipping achieved an operating income of NOK 854.4 million for the 2nd
quarter. The operating profit (EBIT) was NOK 262.8 million. The profit after
taxes was NOK 114.0 million.
The operating income at 30.06.10 was NOK 1,585.0 million. The operating profit
(EBIT) was NOK 435.7 million. The profit after taxes was NOK 173.9 million.

Farstad Shipping's fleet currently consists of 58 vessels (32 AHTS, 24 PSV and
2 SUBSEA). The company's operations are run from Aalesund, Aberdeen, Melbourne,
Singapore and Macaé by a total of 1820 employees onshore and offshore. The
company's strategy is to be a major international supplier of large, modern
offshore service vessels to the oil industry. We also remain committed to solid
