New narrow bandpass filter series available for laser companies

New narrow bandpass filter series available for laser companies

ID: 399705

(PresseBox) - Schneider-Kreuznach presents its latest HT industry filters at the Laser World of Photonics in Munich. This new series of narrow bandpass filters has been especially designed for laser companies for use in industrial applications. Thanks to a new coating process (magnetron sputtering), higher and consistently even transmission (HT) can be achieved with steep slopes and better blocking outside the transmission range.
In addition to a wide choice of catalog items, Schneider-Kreuznach will also be offering customizations for specific applications. This applies on the one hand to the coating that can be designed for specific transmission and reflection wavelengths. On the other hand, highly precise geometric pre-cuts are also possible. Free forms can also be produced using a µ-water jet cutter.
Optical filters provide important advantages for industrial applications: They reduce disturbing stray light while considerably improving the image contrast of relevant object properties. The new anti-reflective coating for broadband bandpass filters provides reduced reflectivity in the visual and near infrared spectrum and is also harder and therefore more robust.
The new HT industry narrow bandpass filters will be presented for the first time at the Laser World of Photonic (from 22 to 25 June 2015, Munich Trade Fair Center, hall B1, booth 301) to which you are cordially invited.
