Royal Ten Cate installs International Advisory Board

Royal Ten Cate (multinational producer of functional materials) is to install an
International Advisory Board as a strategic and advisory body to the Executive
Board.
The International Advisory Board of TenCate will comprise:
* Prof. J.G. de Hoop Scheffer, among other positions, Professor at University
of Leiden, Co-President of the Security and Defense Agenda (Brussels),
former Secretary-General of NATO and former Minister of Foreign Affairs (the
Netherlands);
* General (retd.) D.L. Berlijn, among other positions, Senior Board Advisor,
Deloitte, former Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Netherlands Air Force and
former Chief of Defence;
* K. Blekxtoon, among other positions, Aerospace Industry Advisor TATA TCS
(India), former President of the board of Stork/Fokker International and
former President of the Boeing Corporation (Northern and Western Europe).
The summary of present and former positions of the members of the International
Advisory Board of TenCate is presented as an attachment to this message.
TenCate operates in international markets, which largely consist of public
sector-related end-users. More than half its revenues are directly or indirectly
related to public sector budgets.
The market themes of TenCate are Safety & Protection and Infrastructure & The
environment, which in most cases means the protection of people and the
environment in sustainable solutions.
Operating in international institutional markets, such as infrastructure and the
environment, defence and aviation, contributes to the increasing importance of
political decision-making relating to specifications, public sector budgets,
innovation programmes, et cetera. There is thus a growing relationship in this
area between TenCate and domestic and international institutions and public
sector bodies.
As a result, there is an increasing need to make use of specific expertise in
