The album arrives in stores and at all online retailers on July 10th; PAPER TOWNS opens in theaters nationwide on July 24th.
"PAPER TOWNS - ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK" is available for pre-order beginning today via the iTunes Store . All pre-orders will receive instant grat downloads of Atlantic recording artists' Vance Joy's "Great Summer," and "Search Party" by acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer Sam Bruno.
Additionally, fans have the opportunity to be one of the first to visually Shazam "PAPER TOWNS - ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDRACK" art to unlock an exclusive first listen of Vance Joy's song, "Great Summer." Atlantic Records President of Film & TV and GRAMMY® Award-winning soundtrack producer Kevin Weaver (The Fault In Our Stars, Boardwalk Empire, Girls Volumes 1 & 2, True Blood Volumes 1 & 2, Furious 7) and music supervisor Season Kent (The Fault in Our Stars, The Fighter, Entourage, Need For Speed) served as the soundtrack's producers.
PAPER TOWNS will be celebrated each week by a wide variety of new music releases, video premieres, and eagerly anticipated live events, including a live streaming event from the YouTube Space LA on Friday, July 17th. Adapted from the award-winning bestseller by author John Green (The Fault in Our Stars), PAPER TOWNS is a coming-of-age story centering on Quentin (Nat Wolff) and his enigmatic neighbor Margo (Cara Delevingne), who loved mysteries so much she became one. After taking him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, Margo suddenly disappears, leaving behind cryptic clues for Quentin to decipher. The search leads Quentin and his quick-witted friends on an exhilarating adventure that is equal parts hilarious and moving. Ultimately, to track down Margo, Quentin must find a deeper understanding of true friendship -- and true love.
The film is directed by Jake Schreier, written by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber (The Fault In Our Stars), based upon the book by John Green, and the producers are Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen (The Fault In Our Stars, The Maze Runner, Twilight).
