Schlemmer wins Delphi Pinnacle Award in China
(PresseBox) - Ningbo Schlemmer Automotive Parts Co. Ltd. has been honoured with a 2014 Pinnacle Award by global automotive supplier Delphi Automotive PLC in recognition of the company's outstanding achievements in quality, product integrity and cost-efficiency. The awards ceremony took place on 21 April during Delphi's Global Supplier Meeting in Shanghai.
Jianxiong Hu, who has been General Manager of Ningbo Schlemmer for eleven years, accepted the award on behalf of the 1,000 or so people who work at Schlemmer's seven plants in China. Pinnacle Awards have been presented annually since 2004, with a total of 33 suppliers from 16 countries receiving the honour last year. The Schlemmer Group has already won the award once before, in 2009.
Schlemmer Group CEO Josef Minster said, "The Pinnacle Award is a great honour for Schlemmer and proves to us that we are on exactly the right track in our partnership with Delphi."
