Reliability and safety - the most important attributes in generator and transformer technology. The Optocon AG developed for this purpose the fiber optic thermometer FOTEMPTrafo, that supports you effective in these areas. To ensure a constant and guaranteed operational safety, the temperatures are monitored at critical points in transformers and generators permanently.
In combination FOTEMPTrafo with the fiber optic temperature probe TSTrafo and the innovative measurement method, allows accurate and precise results. By direct installation of the sensors in the trafo windings real, current and quick monitoring of hot spots in hazardous or electromagnetic fields is possible.
Facelift
The upper housing shell has been optimized by a visual change. Information about current temperature measurement values are now displayed on a 4.3-inch LCD screen. The results can be read onsite directly from the device.
Multitasking
The fiber optic thermometer FOTEMPTrafo is available with 1-8 measurement channels. The compact unit size and the DIN-rail-clip provide an easy installation in the cabinet. A wide selection of interfaces makes communication even easier. The choices are: RS-232, RS-485, Modbus, Ethernet, USB, Relay, Analog, WLAN and SD-Card that ensure an optimal connection. A fast measurement speed of 250ms per channel allows the direct detection of overloads. The wide measurement range from -200°C to +300°C with an accuracy of ± 0.2°C makes the FOTEMPTrafo an ideal partner for all transformer applications.
There is also a wide range of accessories for the safe installation of sensors on the tank walls or bus bars available. This way optic feedthroughs, tank wall plates and covers can be used for the assembly. For the installation on bus bars and windings spacers and magnetic holder are recommended. Many applications and one solution - FOTEMPTrafo.
