UML-tool objectiF re-released as version 7.2
(PresseBox) - Berlin-based microTOOL GmbH published version 7.2 of objectiF, a software for model-driven development (MDD) and model transformations. With this tool platform independent models can be transformed into platform specific models and code can be generated. Code in Java, C#, Visual Basic .NET and C++ can be generated from UML diagrams. Version 7.2 of objectiF offers an even better traceability of use cases, supports .NET Visual Studio 2013 as well as a new command line application. A free trial of the new version is available for download now.
The tool offers UML class and package diagrams to describe the structure and UML activity, use case, sequence and state diagrams to describe the behavior of a modeled system. From now on it is even easier to identify the package in which a linked use case of a use case diagram is located. A tooltip shows the source path and the respective use cases are brighter in the diagram. Additionally, the web publisher can generate use cases in HTML which derive from another package than the use case diagram.
A new command line application provides various operations via parameters, e.g. creating and restoring system backups or performing transformations in XSLT.
