ADP AdvancedMD Releases EHR Optimized for Multiple Browsers
Leading EHR Provider Responds to Private Practice Demand for Safari and Chrome

The pioneer of for smaller medical practices has long supported Microsoft Internet Explorer, and today delivers increased speed and flexibility for medical practices by leveraging a wider variety of browser technologies.
The ADP AdvancedMD EHR is now more OS-agnostic, giving clients the freedom and flexibility to use nearly any device that runs on a modern Mac or Windows operating system. By leveraging modern browser technologies, the new ADP AdvancedMD EHR also delivers increased speed and simplicity over previous versions, which were accessible only by Internet Explorer.
"Over the past year we have seen more and more of our clients using mobile devices such as tablets to access patient charts, and there has been a growing interest is using the web browsers native to them," said Arman Samani, ADP AdvancedMD CTO. "ADP AdvancedMD EHR is now more OS-agnostic, and this provides our clients with the added benefit of increased performance on all browser platforms."
The ADP AdvancedMD multi-browser EHR increases speed by up to 30%, particularly for prescription and note writing. The company plans to continue support for the latest versions of Internet Explorer as well as the upcoming Microsoft Edge with Mozilla Firefox support scheduled for late summer 2015. Multi-browser optimization of ADP AdvancedMD practice management software is under development.
