MAPAL strengthens presence in the UK
MAPAL Ltd. takes controlling interest in a Northern Ireland tool manufacturer and supplier, Rainey
(PresseBox) - MAPAL Ltd. based in Rugby/England is strengthening its presence in the United Kingdom. The MAPAL subsidiary has taken a majority shareholding in the Northern Irish company, Rainey Engineering Solutions, and plans to increase this participation in the coming years. The two companies have been working together successfully for many years. "Through this strategic partnership we are now in a position to combine our forces in the UK to further expand our market position, particularly in the field of Aerospace & Automotive. Our objective is to serve the domestic customers faster and more comprehensively," says Wayne Whitehouse, CEO of MAPAL Ltd. Together with managing director, Roy Douglas, Whitehouse will support Rainey Engineering Solutions as chairman.
Rainey Engineering Solutions has its headquarters in Lisburn. The company was founded 1928 and has established itself in Northern Ireland as a leading supplier and manufacturer of special tools, vending solutions and a regrinding service.
MAPAL Ltd. and Rainey Engineering Solutions offer the whole MAPAL product range of precision tools, clamping tools and adapters. A dedicated technical team of engineers serve the market with custom-made solutions and comprehensive process support.
