(Thomson Reuters ONE) - 29 July 2009MOTHERCARE PLC DIRECTOR PDMR SHAREHOLDINGSDuring the three year performance period to 31 March 2009,Mothercare's total shareholder return outperformed the FTSE GeneralRetailers index by 66%, and its underlying profit before interest andtax increased by 91%.Mothercare plc therefore announces the vesting of the 2006 three-yearPerformance Share Plan (PSP) and the issue of options under thethree-year Executive Incentive Scheme (EIP) awards. The schemes wereapproved by the shareholders in July 2006. Details of the schemes areset out in the Mothercare plc Annual Report and Accounts, 2009.Mothercare plc also reports the exercise of certain outstandingoptions under the Mothercare plc 2000 share option scheme.Performance Share PlanThe performance criteria have been met in full and the nil costoptions originally granted in July 2006 under the Performance SharePlan have vested fully.
